Cosmetic Dentistry

Teeth and old restorations in teeth can fail for many reasons leaving you with broken, cracked and unsightly teeth that need to be repaired in order to help you retain a level of health and avoid more major dental problems. We think that you should have your choice of how they are repaired , and how much or how little treatment you want doing in your mouth. We will always try to advise you of you options and the pros and cons of any decision you take.

Dental repairs can still be undertaken with traditional materials, such as dental amalgam and gold. These are generally very durable materials and may suit some people.
However, many patients have concerns about metals in their body and choose more modern materials that can be metal-free. Generally they need less removal of tooth structure during placement, and are tooth coloured. This type of treatment is normally referred to as cosmetic restorative dentistry.

Cosmetic dentistry can change not only how you look, but also your whole outlook on life.
