White Fillings

Our dentists can safely replace silver amalgam fillings with white tooth coloured fillings which can quickly change the way that a dark filled tooth looks.

Dental decay happens when the enamel and dentine of a tooth become softened by acid attack, producing a cavity (hole).

White Fillings


If the decay is not too serious, our dentists can remove all the decay and restore the tooth with a white (tooth coloured) filling. Our dental team can replace amalgam or silver fillings with beautiful white fillings that match your teeth.

Silver Amalgam

It used to be that when a tooth needed to be filled that silver amalgam was the first choice. It can still be used but tooth coloured composite is now a better looking reliable alternative

Colour Matched

Today, white fillings can be matched to the tooth’s natural colour, creating aesthetically very pleasing results.

Strength
